KMX-M3700-100 - YRM20/YRM10 is exclusively for that FES Cart. Don't mistake it for the old YSM FES model.
To clarify its identity: It only recognizes the YRM series, not the YSM series. 
The feeder carts of these two generations of the Yamaha platform are not interchangeable. This is the most common "mismatch" incident in the second-hand market:

One YRM20 model is equipped with 4 M3700-100 units, and it is equipped with ZS/ZSR high-speed flywheels, capable of accommodating 128 different 8mm conversions - this is the prerequisite for the YRM20 "128 types of feeder + RM rotating head 115k" production line to be fully utilized.

Three types of buyers will specifically search for this part number, not just those who purchase the complete machine:

• Expansion of YRM20 existing customer line - The original machine's 2 carts (64 types) are insufficient. We need to add 2 more carts to make a total of 128. The old carts are occupied by other lines.
• After the YRM20 whole machine was sold second-hand, it was discovered that the cart had been disassembled. - It is a common practice for second-hand dealers to sell the "machine" and the "cart" separately. The buyer has to purchase the cart separately.
• YSM system is upgraded to YRM system - originally, the old FES of YSM20 couldn't handle the workload, so 4 units need to be replaced with the complete set of M3700-100.

The third type of severe problem: For customers upgrading from YSM to YRM, they often think "The old FES can still be used", but upon installation, an alarm occurs and they have to urgently find M3700-100 in stock and pay an emergency fee.

The price of each Cart is not high (a second-hand single unit is roughly in the range of several hundred to several thousand RMB, depending on the year and condition). However, if just one of the four carts has a problem with the locking mechanism or the power supply needle, the entire YRM20 line with 128 stations will not be able to be fully installed. Therefore, vehicle inspection is even more cumbersome than overall machine inspection:

1. Plate part number - Confirm KMX-M3700-100 (or -010 / -030), reject "YSM FES modified label" goods. The old YSM FES shell size is similar, and changing the label to that of YRM would be a regular shipment.
2. Locking mechanism - When the YRM cart is pushed into the frame, it is pneumatically/electrically locked. After pulling and pushing it 10 times, check if the latch retracts. The old locking pin of the cart is worn out → After installing the machine, the cart shows slight displacement → The feeder communication is interrupted.
3. Power supply pin array - Back of cart, row 2: Power + communication pins. Check for any bending, oxidation, or missing pins. The YRM series ZSR high-speed escapement has a higher current ratio than SS, and poor pin contact can cause feeder identification loss.
4. Feeder slide rail - 32-position slide rail pushers, with 5 units each for 8mm / 12mm / 16mm flighters. Check for any deformation of the slide rails. The most common problem with second-hand carts is "some of the slide rails have been forcibly pried open", resulting in the feeder not being securely attached to the corresponding position.
5. Wheels + Brakes - When pushing the cart from the feeder room to the machine side, if the wheels get stuck or the brakes fail, and the workshop floor is uneven, the cart will slide.

?? If you purchase a 4-unit package, make sure to get units from the same batch / with the same part number variations - M3700-100 mixed with M3700-010 mixed with M3700-030. Although YRM can consume all of them, the locked firmware identification log will show three subtypes, and the production line PM records are chaotic.

The current market usually offers this part number in two ways:

• Single unit price: ¥XXX–XXX per unit (depending on condition/age/whether original box is included), suitable for replacement customers
• 4 sets of packages + ZSR/SS flight accessories: For YRM20 complete set installation, or for customers requiring additional wiring, the price is ¥XXXX per package.
